Draft Plan Technical Memos
The following Technical Memos detail the existing conditions, consideration of climate resilience, opportunities and challenges, and recommendations for addressing the needs of Climate and Energy, Housing, and Transportation in Montague.
The body of the final plan will include the summarized essential points of the information presented in the Technical Memos. FRCOG staff will be researching and developing Technical Memos for Land Use, Economic Development, and Community Facilities and Services over the winter. All of the Technical Memos will be included as appendices in the final plan
A full draft of the plan will be available for public review in the spring.
Draft Vision Statement
Based on the public engagement process and refined through public review, the Montague Comprehensive Plan vision statement describes the ideal future of Montague and the framework through which the master plan is written:
The Town of Montague’s shared vision is to preserve our sense of community and the unique character of our Five Villages by protecting its natural resources, nurturing its cultural richness, seeking social equity, and promoting quality schools, public services, and facilities; all while ensuring that the community is resilient and sustainable.
